Submit Proposals, Nominate Awards: AI Days 2025 

The University of Florida's AI Days returns to the Reitz Union this Oct. 24-29. AI Days is a celebration of AI at UF, where students, staff and faculty can showcase their work utilizing AI, participate in competitions, give presentations and join panel discussions.

On Oct. 28, AI Days will host their Research & Teaching exhibition. This showcase will highlight how UF researchers, staff and educators are engaging with AI in their research and teaching. Submissions from all disciplines that demonstrate innovative uses of AI to advance scholarship, solve real-world challenges or enhance student learning are now being accepted.

Suggested presentation formats include:

  • Research talks or posters
  • Course showcases or teaching demonstrations
  • Lightning talks or panel discussions
  • Interactive exhibits or demos

In addition to the presentations on Oct. 28, UFIT and the AI & Informatics Research Institute will present five awards. These awards are in an effort to honor researchers who have made significant contributions to AI, informatics or high-performance computing.

2025 award categories:

  • AI Research Excellence Award
  • AI Research Early Career Award
  • AI Research Dissertation Award
  • HiPerGator Pioneering Team Award
  • HiPerGator Early Career Award

Nominations are open through Sept. 22, and self-nominations are accepted.
